Spotlight on the Board
Joyce Salter
Working Wardrobes is dedicated to maintaining transparency with our finances and to being an excellent steward of the resources given to us. Providing invaluable financial consulting is board member Joyce Salter, a Principal in Haskell & White LLP's Audit & Business Advisory Services Department.
Introduced to Working Wardrobes by Hilary Kaye of Hilary Kaye Associates, Inc., Joyce was not
previously aware of an organization that got involved with women and men at risk after they've received initial assistance. "The initial help is a necessity, but it's wonderful to know there is an organization that can assist with re-entry into the workforce," says Joyce. "It warms my heart each time I hear how Working Wardrobes has helped an individual."
Joyce has been serving on the Board since August 2007 as the Board's CPA Counsel and continues to provide excellent direction. In the next couple years, Joyce "would like see the organization exceed its growth goals … there are some amazing opportunities and I can't wait for them to be capitalized on in the most effective and efficient manner possible!"
When asked about her extracurricular activities, Joyce referred to her wonderful husband and two adorable little girls: "They are my hobbies and my passions!"
