2007 Capitol PurSuit: Washington, DC

Partnering with the Men's Wearhouse and the American League of Lobbyists, Working Wardrobes' 4th annual Capitol PurSuit Campaign was a tremendous success! The event was truly a bipartisan effort and the press conference featured House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Congress members Loretta Sanchez, Dana Rohrabacher and Ron Kind. Their joint presence was a powerful testament that the need to get people back to work surpasses all political lines.

Making the event a huge success, more than 350 people donated thousands and thousands of items from their closets while the White House delivered a donation of 400 pieces of clothing! Four years and more than 30,000 suits later, the Capitol PurSuit drive has truly made a difference in thousands of lives of at-risk adults in the Washington, DC area!

Capitol PurSuit is especially important as we prepare to go before Congress seeking funding for our upcoming expansion. This event is highly anticipated throughout the year and presents Working Wardrobes with a very unique opportunity to develop invaluable name recognition and positive relationships on the Hill!
