2008 Men's Day of Self-Esteem

Location: Los Amigos High School, Fountain Valley
A life-transforming day for residents of local shelters (Orange County, Los Angeles and Inland Empire) that includes a variety of complimentary services:
- Motivational and presentation skills seminars
- Personal grooming services
- Wardrobe selection
- Career Fair
- Finale
Re-entry into the world of work poses real barriers to men who need a self-esteem boost and the professional attire to make a good first impression in an interview. This "Day of Self-Esteem" provides job ready candidates with the final touches they need to feel confident in an interview and on the job.
The 2007 Men's 'Day of Self-Esteem' was a great success. 119 men attended from 8 shelters! Thank you for helping make it possible!
