2008 Women's Day of Self-Esteem Photo Gallery

On Sunday, May 4, Los Amigos High School was the site of the 18th Annual Women's Day of Self-Esteem. The event, which welcomed 100 women from local social service agencies and shelters, provided motivational speakers, professional wardrobing, makeovers, workshops and a job fair. Each session provided another important piece of the puzzle for women who have completed Working Wardrobes' six-week "Career Success" workshop series and are commited to re-entering the workforce with dignity and style.

SETTING THE SCENE

It is the outpouring of community support that makes Working Wardrobes events all that they are. A special thank you to the following companies and organizations who contributed ot the magic of the day: Coca Cola, Cookie Lee Jewelry, Command Packaging, DuWop Cosmetics, FedEx, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Mimi's Cafe, Neutrogena, Nordstrom, Orange County Touch Foundation, South Coast Plaza, Sprint, Starbucks, and TJ Maxx.

Career Fair

Once the women had gotten their new look -- and new outlooks! -- they participated in a Career Fair, featuring almost 20 of Orange County's top companies. Participating employers included: Adecco Staffing, Cal National Bank, Cambrian Homecare, FedE, Jobing.com, Mimi's Cafe, Sprint, The First American Corporation, The Men's Wearhouse, Union Bank of California and many more!
