The Working Wardrobes VetNet Program supports men, women, and families of our Military Veterans and transitioning Service Members. We provide a variety of workforce readiness services through Veteran Behavioral Health and Peer Support Services (VBHPSS) programs. In an environment of dignity and respect, our team works to develop a career path with job opportunities appropriate for each client. Working Wardrobes provides ambassadors for our transitioning active duty, reserve, guard, Veterans and their families, building bridges to meaningful employment. Some of our recent successes are reasons for us to celebrate!
Luis; Veteran
Luis came to us for support in finding a new job. Through our VetNet program, our career coaches helped him create his resume, trained him through mock interviews, and outfitted him with a suit for his first interview. Luis is now on his way to landing his first job.
Tim; Navy Veteran
Tim came to us looking to reenter the workforce. With the help of our talented VetNet team, Tim was able to achieve his employment goals and make lasting connections along the way. We are honored to help Veterans like Tim get the resources they need to make their dreams a reality.
Veteran Spouse
A woman came to us who was doubtful that she could find a job in America, However, when she heard about how her Veteran husband had received help from Working Wardrobes, she asked if we could assist her as well. We looked at her resume, and reassured her that her Finance degree, in addition to being bilingual in English and Mandarin, made her an ideal candidate for many jobs. We prepared her for an interview with AT&T, and we look forward to seeing what she will do next!
How to Help Veterans Find Jobs in Orange County
Working Wardrobes will host a private Power Up for Success on June 17, a command sponsored event dedicated to supporting transitioning service members by providing in-kind services like career panels, workshops, a job fair, and well-tailored business attire. If you would like to donate your time to this event, we invite you to join our career panel. We particularly seek career professionals who served in the US military and know, first-hand, the challenges that transitioning service members face.
Join us in addressing the critical needs of Veterans and transitioning active duty members and their families! On June 23rd give to Stand and Salute. This day of giving will provide much needed funds to help transitioning active duty, reserve, guard, Veterans and their families address critical needs on their journeys to meaningful employment.
