As a supporter of Working Wardrobes, Laguna Niguel’s Mayor Pro Tem, Stephanie Oddo, recently took time out of her busy schedule to visit The Hanger. It had been a minute since she’d been at The Hanger Boutique Laguna Niguel. Pleased with her few past purchases, it was only recently that she’d heard about our free wardrobing and styling services, a dream for those who find shopping to be utterly tedious.
Prior to even stepping on-site, she connected with Nancy Luxon, the store manager, who asked her newest client about favorite colors, styles, shapes, brands, and, of course, sizes. Stephanie arrived to find a rack loaded with fabulous looks and she was game to try them all. Nancy and her team of passionate volunteers continued to mix and match everything from tops, jackets, and pants to skirts, dresses, accessories, and shoes.
“This is a great resource for people in our community,” exclaimed the surprised self-professed non-shopper. “I appreciate the staff picking out things that I might not have chosen myself to create wonderful outfits. I found some amazing items that I will cherish for a long time. Shopping is way more fun with this team! We are so glad to have The Hanger Boutique here in Laguna Niguel. It’s not often one has the opportunity to get styled and shop while supporting a great cause.” Stephanie left the store with a few ensembles including pieces from St. John Knits, Diane Von Furstenberg, and Clara Sunwoo Liquid Leather.
