Working Wardrobes offers several committees, each with a unique focus and opportunity for impact
Finance Committee
Oversees accounting, finances, and investments to ensure the organization meets its net operating income goals.
Meets: 3rd Wednesdays at 4:30 pm
Audit Committee
Ensures that a reputable company conducts an independent audit and addresses any findings appropriately.
Meets: As needed, typically in April/May/June
Development Committee
Fundraises to support the mission through networking, donor engagement, and signature events.
Meets: 2nd Thursdays at 4:00 pm
Gala Committees
Logistics Committee- Manages guest experience, volunteer coordination, and auction item pickup. They ensure smooth check-in and check-out, oversee event setup and breakdown, and coordinate with other teams for seamless operations.
Activities Committee- Plans interactive games and raffles, sourcing materials and organizing volunteers. On the event day, they oversee game execution, encourage participation, and track ticket sales.
Silent Auction Committee- Secures high-value items, enforces donation deadlines, and designs auction displays. They manage bidding, coordinate auction decor, and ensure smooth item distribution.
Live Auction Committee- Secures high-value experiences, plans auction item order for engagement, and prepares Fund-A-Need materials. On event day, they track bids and donations in real-time, manage the paddle raise, and coordinate item distribution with logistics and check-out teams.
Meets: 2nd Thursdays at 3:00 pm
Public Affairs Committee
Cultivates relationships with public officials, presenting at city council meetings, and hosting private tours.
Meets: 2nd Thursdays at 3:30 pm
